Fly Fishing Whole Pine Squirrel Skin Natural Thick Hair Zonker Strip Nymphs 2 styles Soft Squirre Fur Fly Tying Dubbing

The Fly Fishing Whole Pine Squirrel Skin product is a fly fishing supply crafted for the discerning angler. It is comprised of the entire skin of a pine squirrel, including its natural, thick fur. The fur on the skin has been maintained on it in its unadulterated condition, preserving its organic appeal and utility. As a result, this product offers two distinct styles – the Zonker Strip and Nymphs – making it versatile for different fly tying applications.

The Zonker Strip is a style known for its soft, flexible, yet durable properties which create a lifelike movement in the water, attracting fishes efficiently. Nymphs, on the other hand, is a popular fly pattern that imitates young aquatic insects and is acclaimed for its buoyancy and vibrancy. The squirrel fur is notably soft, providing an ideal texture for these tying styles. Its natural colour also presents an authentic look to the final fly design, enhancing its effectiveness as a bait. This pine squirrel skin also doubles up as dubbing material, a feature that appeals to fly fishers who prefer using natural fibers for a more convincing lure.
